Observes EKG tracings on monitored patients in order to detect deviations from normal. Notifies appropriate personnel of dysrhythmias. Ensures proper and safe functioning of telemetry equipment. Position requires a HS Diploma or equivalent.
Must be a graduate of a qualifed Monitor Surveillance program or equivanlent training/experience. Minimum of one year of work in a hospital setting preferred. Must be able to pass arrhythmia test.
