General Responsibility

The goal of all of our analyses is to provide shopper / consumer insights that lead to business actions and results. Our analysts are client-facing and share in the development of strategy and delivery of their work to the client. You will work directly with our retail partners to better understand their business through the customer lens to drive better and faster decisions. We use the right combination of behavioral, research and context data to build a customer language and sustainable insight platform to drive strategy, actions plans and measures for our clients. Our insights are simultaneously driving better execution in many areas such as pricing, promotions, assortment, innovation, local marketing, formats, service and loyalty – all through a consistent view of the customer.

Basic Qualifications:
3 years of required experience which must have involved: applying data mining and statistical analysis techniques by using regression, forecasting and behavior-based analytics to make actionable recommendations; programming in SAS including Base, STAT and MACROS to perform data manipulation and analysis; using SQL language and SAS to extract data from large databases; conducting data analysis to design, test and implement strategy for clients; translating market research analysis results into business and marketing solutions and communicating / presenting the results and recommendations to the key internal / external stakeholders using Microsoft applications like Excel, Word and PowerPoint; providing leadership to other team members and serving as internal analytic lead across functional departments of company; and, working directly with business partners and clients to design marketing analyses, manage projects and managing client / partner expectations.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Conduct custom insight studies in their entirety, from project inception and design through preparation and the delivery of reports and presentations.
  • Scope and assist in the development of client proposals.
  • Query consumer level databases and other data sources with the use of database management software.
  • Distill insights from the analysis to offer client ready business recommendations by identifying meaningful consumer indicators and trends.
  • Ensure your work is disciplined and that you adhere to our quality control procedures.
  • Support the development and launch of new products and services.
  • Present your analysis and recommendations to our clients.
  • Build relationships with key internal and external clients.
Experience and Skills

  • Master's degree or foreign educational equivalent in Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering or other relevant discipline such as Economics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics or Quantitative Analysis.
  • 3 years of required experience which must have involved: applying data mining and statistical analysis techniques by using regression, forecasting and behavior-based analytics to make actionable recommendations
