MRO COORDINATOR
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand the Customer’s MRO requirements, enter orders, validate orders and manipulate SAP
Conduct internal planning sessions with the MRO Group
Engage the Customer in the planning, quoting and status reporting process
Build long-term Customer relationships while meeting short-term revenue objectives
Coordinate resources to present “One face to the customer”
Organize accounts to effectively and efficiently build customer relationships to achieve desired budget requirements (orders, shipments and backlog) expectations
Accountable for the preparation, submission and follow-up for MRO account quotes
Responsible for facilitating overall orders/shipments and projections in all assigned accounts
Assist in driving lean conversion activities in assigned transactional environment.
Responsible for SAP transactions related to specific accounts
Interface with assigned customers as required to provide quotes, status, etc.
Maintain good customer relations to assure continuing and growing sales for the Company
Influence interactions with other functions and activities within the Company so as to establish an effective and positive work environment
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to work independently is required
Demonstrated strong work ethic and influencing skills
Professional demeanor with customer contacts
Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal presentation and written)
Must have ability to analyze account information
A commitment to follow-up is essential for success
Self-starter with history of innovation and creative problem solving
Familiarity with computer software (Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office, Excel, Access, Powerpoint)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma
AA/AS degree preferred
5 years of aerospace MRO experience (or equivalent related experience) preferred
Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration 14 CFR, Part 145 or EASA 145 requirements preferred
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
