Responsibilities:
Perform manual assembly of complex electronic and mechanical components.
Follow detailed manufacturing and assembly procedures.
Run automatic production equipment.
Must be able to perform electro-mechanical assembly and repair tasks according to specifications and procedures.
Perform routine device testing and troubleshooting of high precision components and devices.
Follow good manufacturing practices per company operating procedures.
Clean, maintain, and operate automated production equipment per SOP's.
Keep a logbook record of all parts used for electronic assembly, sub-assembly as well as maintenance work.
Clean and organize workbenches before and after shift.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in assembly of precision components or devices.
Experience working with analytical instrumentation.
Obsession with perfection and quality work.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Experience assembling medical devices a plus.
Strong mechanical aptitude, organizational skills and attention to details.
Knowledge of electronic cabling and hand soldering techniques a plus.
Self-directed and able to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Comply with all health and safety regulations, policies, and work practices.
Able to work in a team environment with a “can do” attitude.
Skills in documenting activities, maintaining records, and using common PC programs required.
