The Machine Operator will be responsible for various stages and functions in the manufacturing of air filtration products, including, but not limited to pleating, operation of production equipment, packaging, palletizing, quality control, and miscellaneous machine maintenance. Will execute daily work duties to meet customer demands while upholding quality and safety standards. Uses all computer applications associated with production operations which may include Syteline, MS Office applications, and general HMI navigation. Will complete change over, record production data, clean machines, and work areas.
Responsible for mechanical adjustments to machine; for all needed changeovers; for ensuring product meets quality standards; for the cleaning and minor maintenance required.
Openings on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift.
Must have 1 year in an automation manufacturing environment and must be mechanically inclined.
The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to understand machine and part drawings, ability to read a tape measure and understanding and proficiency in usage of mathematics. Candidate must be able to work independently, problem solve, train others.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Prefer an associate’s degree in a technical area.
Basic computer operating proficiency including but not limited to Windows®, Excel®, Word®, Outlook® and general HMI (Human Machine Interface) navigation.
