Operation of machinery to meet customer specifications in compliance with company policy related to GMP’s and Safety.
Area, equipment, and personal safety and sanitation.
Ensure proper set up of film, labels, cheese and operation of machinery.
Frequently inspect conveyor belt to ensure smooth flow of cheese.
Grease/clean machine based on preventative maintenance schedule.
Ensure cheese quality.
Monitor line for speed, adequate feed of cheese products.
Ensure size and specifications of cheese are in tolerances.
Ability to take metric measurements and measurements of temperature.
Make weight adjustments.
Review order specifications and perform quality check to assume product is packaged according to customer specifications.
Productive use of down time.
Communicate to line personnel on daily production issues, changes and safety issues.
Operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
Add, subtract multiple and divide.
Displays a broad range of customer and equipment knowledge.
Flexible; willingly works different shifts as requested.
Assists maintenance and supervision with repairs, updates, testing, special project information gathering.
Ability to work overtime (OT) with little or no notice.
Ability to rotate to other positions on the production line.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

Ability to read, prepare, and comprehend production reports and worksheets
Ability to communicate with line personnel regarding information contained therein, and regarding quality and safety issues.
Compliance with all safety standards and regulations per company policy.
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills
High School diploma/GED equivalent desired.
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and related equipment.
Repetitive work in a fast-paced production environment with average temperature of 50-60 degrees F.
Hair nets, ear plugs/muffs, hardhats, and/or safety glasses may be required.
Ability to constantly stand/walk; bend/flex/extend/twist neck and back; frequently grip/reach/lift/pull with L/R hands.

Ability to frequently handle material from floor-to-waist, waist-to-shoulder, shoulder-to-overhead and pushing/pulling/carrying.
