Job summary
Set up, adjust and operate machinery in the small ball and roller ext. line to close and exacting tolerances and finish requirements.
Summary of essential job functions
Set up and operate equipment following standard procedures or certified processes if available to prepare for production runs (certified process is required if available)
Follow the baseline and all quality requirements including first piece inspection
Troubleshoot problems during production runs and notify leadership of any issues
Follow any requirements for plotting or other SPC requirements
Work as a team with an Operator if required to achieve desired production quality and output
Handle parts according to established procedures
Follow all prescribed safety rules and regulations
Keep work area clean and orderly
Performs related duties as assigned by leadership

Qualifications:
Minimum requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Some experience in setting up machines preferred; related experience such as mechanical experience may be considered
Abilities required
Must be able to understand and perform to quality standards, methods, usage of inspection devices and reporting as required
Able to understand gaging requirements; good math skills are necessary
Able to set up multiple machines in a fast paced environment
Able to be flexible and respond to the changing needs of the organization
Ability to lift 40 lbs.
