Machine Operators are responsible for continuously monitoring and maintaining product quality based on established standards including visual and mechanical inspection of product, as well as work in a safe manner at all times following all safety policies and procedures. Performing setups in accordance with established procedure, operating, and loading/unloading equipment. Work from written and verbal instructions, procedures and work orders are also required.
Additional responsibilities include: Participating in cross-training activities, maintaining work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition, and performing other duties as required or directed.
*High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
*Ability to read and comprehend instructions and procedures.
*Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling up to 80lbs.,squatting, stooping, standing, and bending is required.
*Must be able to work independently and distinguish colors.
*Must be able to work in a NON climate controlled mfg. facility.
*Wire extrusion/cabling experience is a plus
*Minimum 1 year of experience in an manufacturing environment (machine operator)with the ability to prioritize and pay close attention to detail.
*Basic Computer skills
*Contributes to building a positive team spirit and supports everyone's effort to succeed
*Able to use and read a micrometer a plus
*Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen
*Must be a U.S. Person/Citizen
*Must be able to work any shift
