We are looking for an experienced production worker looking for that next challenge as a Machine Operator Coffee Packaging Division in Thornton, CO.


Under general supervision, operates equipment designed for the packaging of coffee or tea, checks weights, maintains and calibrates scales and packaging machines. Assists in other areas of production as needed.


1. Packages coffee or tea.

2. Sets up equipment for production (load roll stock, valves, weigh scale, warm up, labeler, tape).

3. Makes minor, reasonable adjustments on machines.

4. Assists with the mechanical changeovers of equipment.

5. Checks weigh products and records results. Conducts oxygen analyzer test when needed.

6. Programs coffee weights into computer.

7. Keeps all related equipment and work area sanitary/clean.

8. Performs all other duties as required by supervisor.


Individual must have previous experience as a packaging operator, mechanical abilities, flexibility to meet changing production schedules and job assignments without close supervision. Must be able to read and understand operator manuals and have the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Essential Job Functions:
Stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders. Bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat.

Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds. Push and pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds.

Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.

Environmental exposure to extreme temperatures (coolers, ovens, freezer, outdoors, etc.)
