That is the power of AIN Plastics and ThyssenKrupp Materials together.'We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Machined Parts Cost Estimator for AIN Plastics in our Kennesaw, GA machine shop.This individual will be responsible for preparing cost estimates and price quotations on new work and project continuations for our machine shop.Responsibilities include: Interpret technical drawings and documents Determine required manufacturing equipment and processing Estimate raw material cost Submit RFQs to external vendors as needed Estimate COGS and profit margin Determine lead times Submit quotes to sales staff Communicate with manufacturing and QC when necessary Embrace, utilize, and employ all sections of AIN Plastics Sales Productivity Process applicable to your job Respond to sales calls, faxes, and emails in a timely manner Provide technical assistance to customers Satisfy customer service issues Continuously increase knowledge of company products, services, and procedures Work in a team environment, communicating as required with all personnel Assist in quality-related duties where required
Ability to accurately interpret technical drawings and documents Engineering plastic shape and/or machined part training or experience Basic PC or mainframe skills in order to accurately assemble and process orders and information in a timely and efficient manner This position offers a competitive salary and benefit package, including health, dental and vision insurance, paid vacation, and 401(k).
