Eaton Hydraulics – Hutchinson KS has immediate openings for Manufacturing Operator Positions.
Ideal candidates will posses the following qualifications:
Working from detailed instructions, set up sheets, blueprints and in accordance with standard shop practices to operate multiple machines and perform a sequence of operations such as mill, drill, turn, tap, bore, grind, and ream a variety of metal components used in hydraulic systems. Ensure accuracy of program and the quality of parts through visual inspection and physical measurement.
The ability to safely and accurately use a wide variety of hand tools and gages is required.
Perform accurate, daily machining of parts
Research root causes of inventory inaccuracies
Participate in activities such as problem solving teams to identify and implement corrective actions
Actively participate in continuous improvement projects
Lifting of parts continuously
Requires highly repetitious work
Work in accordance with general safety rules and practices.
Keep immediate work area clean and free from hazards.
Responsible for finished parts conformity to print or specification
Participate in continuous improvement of processes
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Occasional exertion of more than 50 pounds of force
Frequent walking with the rest of the time spent standing.
Ability to work in the typical machine shop with exposure to oil, dirt and heat
Ability to work overtime as required.
Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment (includes earplugs, safety glasses & steel-toed shoes.)
Performs the daily task of machining parts.
The constant loading and unloading and gauging of parts.
