Position is responsible for processing incoming mail, outgoing, inter-office and mail/packages and supplies. Provide assistance to Purchasing to prepare and obtain RFP’s for maintenance and service contracts.
Receive, sort and deliver mail, packages and supplies.
Meter and prepare mail and packages for outgoing mail.
Ensure outgoing mail is picked up by USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc. Take corrective action if needed.
Flag returned mail accounts and other special projects.
Serve as primary point of contact for management and employees regarding mail issues. Evaluate and determine nature of problem and appropriate solution; initiate vendor contacts as appropriate to resolve problems.
Assist Purchasing in preparing RFP’s for maintenance and service contracts.
Monitor mail related vendors to best meet facility needs and financial interests of the Credit Union.
Inventory supplies for general areas at the office building; order, track and stock supplies.
Ensure shredding bins are emptied on regular and timely basis; monitor vendors to ensure security and confidentiality of documents. Monitor bins and schedule additional pick-ups as needed.
Maintain common areas such as stock rooms; storage areas, cabinets and mail room.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.
1. High School Diploma/GED is required.
2. One year experience is preferred.

Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery.
Able to sit, walk, and bend. Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
