Job Responsibilities

The Foundation Mail Shuttle Services provide inter-campus mail delivery for SDSU Research Foundation employees. The drivers transport mail between projects located at various property sites such as: Gateway Center, Alvarado Medical Center, Sky Park Court, City Heights Community Development Center, and the Interwork Institute. The shuttle drivers also provide a mail sorting service for central staff located at the Gateway Center and Alvarado Medical Center mail rooms. Shuttle drivers may be called to provide transportation for SDSU/Research Foundation faculty and staff to and from special events located off-campus. The shuttle drivers also acts as a back-up for the SDSU Research Foundation Shipping and Receiving staff. The shuttle drivers may be called to assist with small projects when needed, such as archive disposal, small-package delivery, and other duties as assigned by the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Must hold a valid California driver's license, insurance coverage and a safe driving history. Offer is contingent upon successful completion of a background check (which will include criminal history, credit history, DMV driving record, and fingerprinting) and drug screening.

Demonstrate a high level of cross-cultural sensitivity
