Lead and coordinate the daily maintenance activities by setting the schedules for maintenance mechanics through the proper use of the SAP PM system. Order parts or equipment to coincide with mechanics scheduled maintenance activities to ensure timely completion. Act as the plant SAP PM System owner and conduct regular system health checks and general upkeep related to plant and overall business strategy changes. Lead efforts to improve maintenance effectiveness through continuously improving preventive maintenance strategy, task lists, PM intervals, reporting content, parts inventory data, etc. Ensure the maintenance activities are completed in order to meet expectations of Pioneer’s Process Safety Management process for the location. Verify work completion and quality of maintenance jobs - work orders, clean up, test starts, production handover, etc. Provide technical insight and support to team to ensure area/site Key Performance Indicators (KPI´s) are achieved.
Responsible for identifying, planning, scheduling, coordinating, and follow up of maintenance activities within assigned areas. Accountable for enforcing safe work practices and procedures in the Maintenance Department including performing safety audits, safety inspections, and daily workplace examinations. Identify root causes of issues and implement solutions to correct. Generate job procedures for all maintenance work and maintain them in SAP Task Lists. Order all parts needed to execute maintenance work in area of responsibility and verify that the parts are correct and onsite. Create and maintain maintenance strategies/tactics in SAP. Conduct regular field audits to observe the execution and discuss the quality of the plans with Craftsmen & Supervisors. Ensure an accurate equipment history and master data is kept up in the SAP PM system in accordance to company guidelines. Facilitate various meetings. Usually to improve the plan following execution of the work. Develop and implement equipment asset plans using Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Risk Based Inspections (RBI) and other reliability techniques.
Analyze equipment trends, historical data, and MTBF data to recommend and justify improvements to obtain lowest life cycle cost on different classes of equipment. Continually promote consistency by standardizing procedures/equipment/operations within area of responsibility. Work closely with the plant management team and corporate maintenance COC team in a partnership to achieve reliability excellence.
Ensure that the cleanliness and orderliness of the workplace is maintained by setting standards and ensuring adherence to those standards. Provide input and assistance to supervisor when planning capital and operational budgets. Provide input for workforce planning and development, scheduling, and development of annual business plan.
Develop and maintain good communication and rapport with plant personnel. Effectively communicate important information such as performance against daily milestones at daily meetings with team members and daily meetings with other shift supervisors. Ensure that shift process leaders effectively communicate to employees working in their process areas. Provide Production Supervisors with accurate and timely information regarding employees and operational issues.
Address conflict in a direct and constructive manner. Work with other leaders to coordinate workflow and coordinate allocation of resources between shifts and departments. Participate in location meetings. Serve on both plant and other Pioneer teams as assigned.

Provide coaching and assistance to others on their learning plans. Education and Experience Two-year technical diploma/degree or equivalent and 3-5 years of maintenance experience required. Previous experience in a maintenance planner/scheduler role highly preferred. Competencies Ability to manage work processes, balance workload, train & motivate employees are key for this role. Three to five years of industrial plant experience preferred. Demonstrates knowledge and prior experience working with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Prior experience with SAP preferred. Demonstrates knowledge of root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and reliability centered maintenance (RCM) methodology. Demonstrates knowledge of predictive & preventive reliability technologies. Demonstrates use of critical reasoning skills as they apply to problem solving and decision-making.
