We are currently seeking an experienced, self-motivated, hands-on Maintenance Manager to join our outstanding team. This position reports to the Vice President of Manufacturing/Operations.
The Maintenance Manager provides hands-on leadership for the maintenance staff and manages all maintenance functions to ensure that equipment and facilities for our plant and distribution center are operating at maximum efficiency.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee safe operation of ammonia refrigeration system and equipment. In conjunction with the maintenance staff, repair and maintain all production and distribution equipment. Work closely with Production, Distribution, and Quality Assurance managers to effectively coordinate maintenance work. Assign projects and PMs to maintenance staff using Company supplied software and ensure timely completion. Perform weekend inspections of the facilities and provide on-call service 24/7 as required during unique and emergency situations. Direct the maintenance staff on safe operations and enforce LOTO, Food Defense, Food Safety & Food Quality Plans, GMPs, HACCP programs. Maintain facility safety systems, including sprinkler systems, fire alarms, fire extinguishers, Manage outside vendors for facility repairs, major facility projects, plumbing, HVAC, landscaping, snow removal, facility cleaning services. Maintain accurate parts & supplies inventories. Attend both on-site & off-site training sessions as required. All other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum 5-10 years previous facility maintenance experience. Solid working knowledge of facility and equipment maintenance. Certification and experience operating ammonia refrigeration system. Knowledge of Process Safety Management.Solid knowledge of OSHA regulations. Experienced in purchasing, inventory, and negotiation. Proficient PLC and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills. General construction skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands. Good Microsoft Office skills. Good oral and written communication skills.
