American Resource Staffing is currently seeking Maintenance Mechanics for a client in Lynn, MA. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for performing highly diverse duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes and to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives. 2nd and 3rd shifts are available.

Job Responsibilities •
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and plant facility equipment •
Provide emergency/ unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service •
Perform machinist duties and responsibilities •
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines •
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service •
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments •
Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities •
Perform and variety of plumbing and carpentry functions •
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties •
Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision •
Comply with safety regulations and maintain a 5S organized area •
Complete accurate and timely documentation of maintenance records •
Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) •
Follow SQF guidelines to produce a safe and quality product

Job Requirements •
5+ years prior machine maintenance experience with background in HVAC, hydraulics, PLC, pneumatics, and mechanical and industrial skills •
Self motivated, detail oriented and the ability to work in a fast paced environment •
Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently with heavier weights at times •
Ability to walk, stand, stoop, bend, twist, climb, and kneel throughout shift •
Ability to work in hot/wet/cool conditions •
Strong verbal and written communication skills •
Successful completion of drug screen, background check, and physical fit for duty test •
Second and Third shift positions with weekends and holidays required
