Possess good diagnostic skills and be capable of recommending repairs, replacement or improvements. Must be able to perform minor electrical repairs and troubleshooting to determine which action to take while responding to an emergency request problem. Adhere to all safety procedures and best manufacturing practices. Work from verbal and written instructions and use blueprints, sketches, and schematic drawings. Carry out and/or assist in the repair, construction, installation, and maintenance of various types of production process and auxiliary equipment. Communicate and cooperate with fellow employees to maintain quality, operational efficiency, and safety environment. Familiar with mechanical repairs of variable frequency drivers, gear reducers and power transmission equipment. Use various types of hand tools, powered hand tools, and handling equipment, including forklift. Follow up installations and make necessary adjustment. Must be able to perform physical activity such as lifting to 60 lbs., climbing ladders, shoveling snow, etc.
Answer trouble calls and make repairs to minimize downtime. Perform plumbing, pipe fitting, carpentry, masonry, and rigging work. Be on call for weekend or non-regular hours when scheduled and scheduled shutdowns.
Education, Skills and Requirements:
