JOB SUMMARY: Plans and schedules Maintenance Work Orders on a daily basis and meets the objectives of the plant regarding timely Repair/Installation and Maintenance of Plant Equipment. Conducts required Predictive Maintenance activities on a routine schedule to prevent unplanned breakdowns. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Generates Preventive, Predictive and Corrective work orders from MP2. Closes work orders in MP2 when tasks are completed. Adjusts work orders in relation to priority and effectively communicates the changes to the Maintenance Manager & Maintenance Supervisor. Helps prepare the weekly maintenance work schedule in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor and Operations. • Determines scope of all corrective work orders and orders parts and materials to ensure the job is completed in a timely manner. • Assists the Maintenance Manager & Supervisor with aligning the mechanics to accomplish the tasks at hand in a timely manner. Works with Maintenance Supervisor to assure that adequate work has been assigned to shift personnel as prioritized by MP2 • Works with the Production Scheduler, Operations Manager and Maintenance Manager to identify areas of opportunity to schedule work during periods of downtime. • Conducts weekly, bi-weekly and monthly Predictive Maintenance functions such as vibration analysis, Infrared Scans & oil analysis to prevent unplanned breakdowns. • Prepares reports for Maintenance Manager concerning schedule compliance and budgetary requirements. • Works with the Maintenance Manager to assist, maintain, and administer the maintenance department budget • Assist with maintenance activities when needed to include, but not limited to PM’s and repairs.


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE: • High school diploma or equivalent • Electrical/Mechanical background necessary • Apprenticeship program or technical background preferred • Above average computer skills including MS Word & MS Excel. • 3-5 years of experience with Mp2 CMMS preferred or other comparable CMMS system (SAP, Maximo) work order system. 1 – 2 years experience with Predictive Maintenance Systems (Vibration Analysis, Infrared Thermography, etc.) SKILLS AND ABILITITES: Preventative and Predictive Maintenance Procedures. Coordinate with Maintenance and suppliers on the availability of parts procurement. Expedite materials when necessary. Work with vendors to insure price and availability for maintenance operations. Proactively communicate with maintenance, operations and Plant Management in a cooperative and respectful manner to foster a collaborative and positive work environment. Support of Management Objectives and Policies, Scheduling of shutdowns and development of turnaround job plans for projects. Helps plan annual boiler outage work list and schedules contractors for major downtime events. • Willing and available to work overtime if requested or needed by the Maintenance Management Staff. Work willingly with co-workers and the management team to achieve department and company goals. Support co-workers and management in carrying out daily maintenance responsibilities
