Reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Superintendent, the Maintenance Reliability Engineer will have primary responsibility for pressure vessel and tank integrity program, boiler inspection and reliability, Root Cause Failure Analysis, Maintenance Best Practices, Engineering support for Maintenance department for troubleshooting, corrective actions, etc...
An undergraduate degree in Engineering is preferred, experience in lieu of a degree may be considered. Successful candidate should have at least 2 years of maintenance and reliability experience. While qualified candidate may come from outside the paper industry, it is expected that they will have similar experience in a highly automated process manufacturing environment, and be accustomed to large-scale production in a commodity driven low-cost business. Experience in Power and Utility is a plus. Knowledge and experience in API, ASME, ASTM, NBIC and NFPA code compliance.
In addition to a full complement of leadership skills - including the ability to lead teams in a union environment - it is also important for the Maintenance Engineer to bring knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling and personnel development. The candidate should be able to communicate effectively with seasoned maintenance professionals.
