      A large Gulf Coast Maintenance and Construction contractor is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Site Manager for a position in the Freeport Texas industrial corridor.

      The Site Manager is responsible for managing a large industrial material handling and maintenance operation consisting of over 400 contract personnel. This manager is the primary liaison

      between the client, employees and company management.

      A combination of the following credentials and experience will be


    • Bachelor of Science in a business, engineering or construction curriculum.

    • Minimum of 20 years experience in a supervisory or

      management capacity of a similar size maintenance operation in the process industry.

    • Verifiable References.

    • A Superior Communication and Negotiation skill set.

    • Problem Solving Ability and an understanding of Client

      Management Philosophy.

      The Site Manager is responsible for all aspects of the

      administration of the contract scope of work and all of the

      maintenance operation including:

    • Administration of all Safety Policies and Procedures.

    • Administration of all Quality Policies and Procedures.

    • Administration of all HR Policies and Procedures.

      The Site Manager must also:

    • Ensure that maintenance staff and personnel are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that company objectives can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective


    • Anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner, and identify opportunities for improvement.

    • Track, analyze and improve Key Performance Indicators.

    • Communicate regularly with all maintenance staff, both

      individually and as a group, to ensure that an effective two-way communication path exists.

    • Assist with hiring of maintenance personnel.

    • Coordinate activities with Plant Operations Departments.

    • Participate in objective setting, plan development and

      performance review of personnel.
