RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintenance and care of the Comunilife buildings and apartments in compliance with applicable Federal, State, and City building codes, and regulations. Drive agency vehicles, as required. Responsible for buildings maintenance services, i.e. basic electrical, plumbing, cleanliness, safety, and overall building readiness for regular inspections. Ensure that assigned buildings are maintained; kept clean and there is a safe work environment, the upkeep of building systems is conducted; ensure timely repairs of equipment and report any building or apartment damage. Tasks involve daily inspection of the physical facilities, physical effort including some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials.

Skills

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum two to three years direct maintenance experience. Applicable building certifications, such as, but not limited to, Certified NYC & NYS Residential & Commercial Superintendent, Standpipe & Sprinkler Certification, HVAC Universal Certification, NYS Boiler License, Hazardous Materials Certification, advance training through the NYC HPD, Fire Guard or Fire Director Certification, Certificate of Fitness, EPA Certification. Valid driver’s license required.
