Responsible for administering and maintaining the Computerized Maintenance Management System. Plans, organizes, assigns work and coordinates activities of all maintenance mechanics.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: · Assesses root causes of equipment malfunctions, identifies and secures the services of appropriate contractors.
· Responsible for ensuring adequate inventory of equipment parts and supplies and their distribution.
· Administers work order management system, assigns work order priority and issues work order assignments to mechanics.
· Ensures that repairs and preventive maintenance are coordinated in accordance with production schedules and the requirements of other departments.
· Collaborates with Validation Engineers to establish preventive maintenance templates for equipment.
· Maintains equipment manuals and other maintenance related documentation. Conducts on site investigations of maintenance issues and makes recommendations on necessary repairs.
· Responsible for verifying starting and ending times of mechanics and providing the necessary time card data to the payroll department.

Qualifications
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
· Knowledge of pharmaceutical processing equipment and cGMP requirements.
· Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and resolve equipment malfunctions.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Ability to plan, organize and coordinate plant maintenance workload.
· Writing skills.
· Ability to interact effectively with all levels

Work Environment and Physical Demands
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Knowledge of PLCs, PC’s and ability to read electrical diagrams and perform repairs.
· Possess strong mechanical/electrical aptitude.
· Ability to follow cGMP’s and SOP’s.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Education
Education/Training/Work Experience
· BS/BA preferred.
· Engineering degree preferred. Two year technical schooling and stationary engineer license required.
· 5 years experience.
