The supervisor position will be responsible for coaching and developing maintenance technicians to provide a safe and reliable starch manufacturing environment.
This key position will be instrumental in driving our maintenance strategy to provide business results and satisfy our customer’s needs.
Maintenance Technicians (approx. 6-8)
Lead the hourly workforce to deliver cost effective and safe solutions, balancing plant and business considerations.
Provide leadership to drive innovation and improvement as the organization transitions from a reactive maintenance environment to proactive.
Create the focus to achieve results even through times of ambiguity and change.
Develop an atmosphere of improvement through innovation and fostering of new ideas.
Must be able to work efficiently in a manufacturing team.
This leader must be able to get results through others by establishing an environment of employee growth, trust and accountability.
This position will also be a valuable member of a manufacturing team which will require a high level of communication and collaboration.
Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience.
2-4 year technical degree preferred.
Reliability engineering a plus. Experience in lieu of a degree will also be considered.
Chemical or process oriented industry experience preferred.
Food manufacturing a plus.
Proactive/preventative maintenance processes and
Practical application of predictive tools/techniques, precision maintenance skills and experience in a multi craft environment a plus.
Computer skills in SAP, CMMS and MS Office desired.
Technical knowledge/experience in the following areas is a plus: DCS control systems, medium voltage equipment, PLC applications, instrumentation, data acquisition, loop controllers, etc.
English language is required.
