Maintenance Supervisor Ladysmith, WI
Job duties include directly supervising and managing the activities of mechanics and electricians of the Maintenance department for optimal and cost-effective machine uptime, including planning and directing maintenance activities, maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies, developing and implementing improvement and cost-savings strategies and projects, and maintaining buildings and assets.
Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:
Associate’s Degree in Engineering or related field and/or equivalent experience required.
Minimum five years mechanical and/or engineering experience in a paper mill environment preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge in design, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of pulp and paper mill or similar equipment.
Experience with estimating, cost management and budgeting of mill maintenance and capital expenses as well as contract services.
Ability to learn and use computerized maintenance management systems.
