Background: The Maintenance Supervisor plans and leads the daily
activities of the Maintenance Department in the areas of
Safety/Environmental, Quality, and Maintenance. This requires both a
focus on leadership as well as the full utilization of information,
procedures and methods to positively impact the materials, machines,
internal and external customers of the facility.
Key Functions: Ensure the safety and well being of ones self and all of
the employees in the manufacturing facility. Identify areas where safety
issues could arise and take measures to proactively address the
concerns. Participate in weekly, monthly, semi annual and annual safety
and environmental audits. Leads the environmental reporting and manages
the environmental compliance, committees and activities. Actively
participate on the plant’s Safety Committee. Actively supervises
employees in the everyday coordination, execution and planning of

supervisory staff and hourly employees. Continually communicate in a
positive manner. Conducts oneself in a manner that is reflective of the

Requirements: Five or more years of maintenance leadership experience in
a manufacturing environment. Corrugated industry experience preferred.
Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance methods.
Demonstrated project management, planning, and organizational skills.
Strong mechanical knowledge of manufacturing processes. Ability to
identify root cause of problems and effectively initiate immediate
corrective action to prevent reoccurrence. Must have excellent
interpersonal, problem solving, analytical, communication skills.
Knowledge of computerized maintenance and inventory control systems
processes in SAP or similar enterprise software solutions. Working
knowledge and ability to utilize personal computers and software. BS/BA
in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering or similar
technical discipline desired.
