•Responsible for supervising manufacturing plant maintenance and general building repairs on assigned shift.
•Coordinates and manages the repair and maintenance of process equipment and utility system.
•Oversees utility plant operations on assigned shift, facilitates daily meetings with shift support personnel, and provides detailed report on plant status at the end of each shift.
•Makes operational decisions that involve setting priorities and the deployment of resources.
•Provides primary feedback to direct supervisors.
• 40%: Responsible for directing and supervising shift personnel and contractors to ensure the facility is operated and maintained in a safe and efficient manner
• 20%: Ensures quality of work and provides on-site expertise
• 20%: Ensures equipment availability is adequate to meet manufacturing requirements
• 20%: Developing and reviewing procedures and training materials as well as training and evaluating staff.
Education and Experience Requirements:
•Demonstrated abilities and evidence of training in repair, operation, and troubleshooting of process equipment and utility systems.
•Extensive relevant experience in Bio-pharmaceutical, petrochemical, marine engineering, packaging, and power generation industries in a leadership role and/or a supervisory capacity.
•High school diploma or equivalent
Other Job Requirements:
Should be able to climb a ladder, reach, bend, and lift loads up to 50 lbs. Valid Driver’s license. Must be willing to work 2nd shift
