MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN I- Cottage Estates Apartments

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician I for our 152 unit Family Community located in Sacramento, CA. The Maintenance Technician I will report to the Maintenance Technician III. This is a non-exempt position with a Monday through Friday work schedule; some flexibility will be required to accommodate the occasional need to work overtime and weekends.

The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for the upkeep the property in order to enhance and maintain its curb appeal. The Maintenance Technician I will also assist the rest of the staff as directed, in their efforts to manage the property in an efficient manner.
· Knowledge and skill in the safe use and maintenance of wrenches, hammer, grips, saws, sledgehammer, snips, posthole diggers, etc.
· Knowledge and skill in the safe use of moving aids such as wheelbarrows, dollies, hand trucks, buckets, jacks, step ladders, and full ladders
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
· Cleaning experience
· Inventory experience
· Experience in turning a unit
· High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required
