Perform, administer, and document preventive maintenance programs.
Perform all maintenance and preventative maintenance functions within the hotel in an effort to meet and exceed established standards.
Possess excellent time management skills.
Work directly with the hotels Chief Engineer and General Manager identify and accomplish all technical projects within the hotel including but not limited to the following:
Perform electrical, plumbing and carpentry projects.
Assist in HVAC unit repair projects.
Guest room preventative maintenance (caulking, tile repair, painting, plumbing, carpeting, etc.).
Working knowledge of kitchen equipment/refrigeration.
Working knowledge of fire protection and life safety systems.
Determine needs for contract repair/service.
Perform, administer and document preventative maintenance.
Overall building maintenance.
Promote a safe working environment following OSHA guidelines (lock out-tag out, maintaining MSDS sheets, etc.).
Willingness to respond to emergency situations on short notice.
Basic computer skills.
Maintain and manage a work order system for the hotel.
Must have the flexibility to a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
Has experience with tools and can learn. We will train for positions needs on the job for the right person.
Hotel experience preferred with housekeeping house person experience or general maintenance back ground such as cleaning and general repair duties.
