The primary function of a Maintenance Technician is to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment and facilities.
Testing and troubleshooting units and subassemblies working from intricate mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, established assembly and test procedures and written or verbal instructions.
'Adhere to production schedules, key performance indicators, lead times, departmental and company goals.
'Perform inspection on a wide variety of products in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
'Assist in the resolution of technical issues.
'Several years of electronics technician experience
'Experience troubleshooting at the component/equipment level
'Electrical controls engineering background desired
'Complete knowledge of and ability to design and use relay logic, ladder logic, pneumatic logic and hydraulic logic
'Complete understanding and ability to use Excel, Word, Access, Acad 2000 or Acad 2000LT, and all related computer software for machine programming, backup and monitoring.
'Experience with programming of motor drives.
'Fanuc Robots programming experience is strongly preferred.
'Troubleshooting and programming experience with Allen Bradley Control Logix PLC platform
'Experience with servo controls , wiring of motors and mechanical equipment
'Prior robotic experience a plus
'Excellent math and reading skills
'Ability to define problems, collect data, establishes facts and draw valid conclusions
'Able to read and interpret the information in pertinent document such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
'Ability to read and understand equipment and building blue prints
What do I need to be considered a candidate?
2 (two) years of experience as a multi-craft maintenance mechanic in a high-speed manufacturing plant, preferably in a food processing or consumer packaged goods industry
High school diploma or GED
Strong troubleshooting skills
Solid PC skills
Specific experience with high-speed packaging equipment, single/three phase systems, PLC's, electronics, and pneumatics is preferred.
