Primary function of this position is completing repairs and maintenance of electrical and lightning components to the building systems on campus. In addition, this position may perform minor repairs to issues related to plumbing, painting, ceiling tile replacement, and structural systems on campus. This is an essential personnel position in which the candidate may have to work after hours and on weekends.
Minimum Qualifications (Education & Experience):
This position requires completion of an approved apprenticeship program for one or more trades; or a high school diploma and four years of related experience. Appropriate vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Electrical license required.
Preferred Qualifications (Education & Experience):
High school diploma and four years of commercial maintenance experience; knowledge of basic repair procedures for door closures/hardware, carpentry, electrical work, painting, and plumbing.
Special Skills/Licenses/Training/Certifications Necessary:
Valid Florida Driver's License.
