Ehrhardt Tool & Machine has a great opportunity for a entry level Maintenance Worker.
Follow safety regulations and report safety violations to management
Follow and enforce lock out tag out procedures per company policy
Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables
Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches and motors and positions sensing devices.
Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components.
Replaces electric motor bearings and rewires motors
Diagnoses and replaces faulty mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipment
Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments
Repairs or replaces defective parts, maintains coolant and other fluids in equipment
Realigns and adjusts components such as spindles and clutches
Installs special functional and structural parts in devices
Performs routine maintenance on building such as air conditioners, plumbing, office areas etc.
Measures, cuts, threads and installs new pipe for air and hydraulic lines
Starts devices to test performance
Repairs electrical equipment
Operates man lifts fork truck
Cleans and lubricates machinery and equipment per preventative maintenance schedule.
Qualified candidates must have 2 years mechanical or electrical experience in a manufacturing facility, machining experience a plus.
This position also has the opportunity to become an electrical and mechanical troubleshooter.
