Maintenance Worker

St. Mary's is currently seeking a Full Time Maintenance worker for the night shift (11pm-7am) to work in maintaining and repairing buildings, equipment and grounds. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to monitoring and documenting operation of equipment, utilities, vehicles; inspect fire alarm, nurse call, standpipe-sprinkler, security systems and answer emergencies; transport patients, personnel and merchandise. They may also participate in moving equipment, furniture or other materials.

A minimum of three years experience in building trades

A minimum of one year experience in medical electrical or boiler technology

Possess or willing to obtain at least three certificates for either boiler operator, standpipe sprinkler operator, compressor operator, fire guard generic or certificate to maintain inside fire alarm

HS diploma or GED equivalent required

Ability to use standard tools and follow safety precautions

Ability to solve problems and make decisions in accordance with the scope of the job responsibility

Current NY State drivers license required
