Additional Salary Information: Will be eligible for the State of Montana Benefits Package.
Will be scheduled 40 hours per week, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., To include some weekends. May be asked to make schedule adjustments to complete special projects. Responds to emergency and after hours call for system, equipment, and building problems.
Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance, and lift repetitively 40 to 60 pounds. Work prolonged periods on ladders, in stooped, standing, kneeling, or other awkward positions. Work in extreme hot and cold temperatures when working on boilers or in summer and winter conditions. Work in areas that have unpleasant odors or sights, works with herbicides, contact cements, lacquer thinners, etc. Work in areas of high noise level, dirty conditions, confined spaces and heights up to 30 feet. May come in contact with blood and body fluids that may cause health risks. Work with potentially dangerous power tools such as saws, drills, etc.

Criminal History Background Check
Assists in repair and maintenance of grounds, buildings, motorized equipment, heating and ventilating systems, plumbing system, electrical systems, carpentry, painting, floor repair, fire alarm system, door monitoring systems, nurses' call system and boiler plant. Operates light duty equipment for lawn care and snow removal; working with a variety of hand tools and power tools; performs related work as required. Works under direct supervision of lead worker or Maintenance Supervis
Working knowledge of the methods and practices of general maintenance, including remodeling, painting, and construction as it relates to building, facilities, and grounds. Working knowledge in the maintenance of facility's equipment and machinery. Must have a high school diploma, good mechanical ability, and be a depandable self-motivated person able and willing to cross train. One to two years experience in maintenance in a hospital, nursing home, large hotel, or other large commercial building, to include the maintenance of the building, various building systems, and machinery and equipment used in the facility is highly desired.
Third Class Boiler License desirable or be able to obtain one within 6 months of employment.
Ability to diagnose and repair complex equipment problems if highly favorable
Must be a team player
Required: high school diploma, good mechanical ability, and be a dependable self motivated person.
One to two years experience in maintenance in a hospital, nursing, home, large hotel, or other large commercial building, to include the maintenance of the building, various building, systems, and machinery and equipment used in the facility.
Must have a Third Class Boiler License or be able to obtain one within 6 months of employment.
