The Courtyard by Marriott Monrovia is currently seeking a Maintenance personnel. This position is responsible for carrying out certain projects such as installing items, such as mirrors, ironing boards/irons, etc. Performs necessary routine and basic maintenance work at the hotel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Uses various hand tools, such as hammers, pliers, saws, chisels, and screwdrivers Uses various power tools, such as drills, skill-saws, jigsaws, and reciprocating saws Has basic plumbing knowledge Has basic electrical knowledge Has basic carpentry knowledge Has basic painting skills Has a good working knowledge of safety requirements as it relates to OSHA requirements and the proper use of tools, when performing work Maintains the maintenance (shop) area to avoid hazards and accidents Answers calls from guests and other colleagues when maintenance issues occur Interacts with guests in a courteous and professional manner. Greet each guest with the appropriate salutation
