TexelTek is seeking an experienced Malware Analyst with the ability to evaluate and analyze malicious code through the use of forensics tools. Candidate will draft formal and informal reports with details of the malware, identification parameters, advanced capabilities, and mitigation strategies. Candidate will perform research in the area of malicious software, vulnerabilities, and exploitation tactics. This position is located in the Annapolis Junction, MD offices.
Duties and Responsibilities
Experience with application security, network security, reverse engineering, or malware.
Draft formal and informal reports of your findings.
Brief a variety of consumers, orally and in writing.
5 + years of experience with programming and development in a low level language, such as C or Assembly.
TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Experience with using various tools for program and systems analysis, including IDA Pro, Ollydbg, PCAP tools, and TCP Dump-Experience with assembly programming-Experience with Web programming.
Ability to perform basic protocol and network analysis, including CP/IP, UDP, FTP, HTTP, and IRC.
Knowledge of worms, viruses, Trojans, rootkits, and botnets.
Knowledge of computer security.
