Minimum Requirements/ Experience : A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of six (6) year’s of related experience related to DOE mission related programs/projects. Advanced degrees may be substituted for years of experience required.

Desired Skills: Experience working in a DOE and/or NE environment is preferred ! Position may require travel. Must have or be able to obtain a Security Clearance.

Required Skills : Candidate should have sound understanding and proven experience in word processing and integrated software applications; proven customer relationship skills including strong written and verbal communication skills is a must.

Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will conduct research and prepare management, organizational and business analyses and forecasts for clients at DOE-ID and DOE-NE/HQ. The candidate will also collaborate with the customer to define, coordinate and track the status of multidisciplinary tasks and provides advice on management and business element planning implementation. Other responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Tracking, processing, producing and distributing deliverables and monitoring comment status from DOE customers; collecting and analyzing performance data. Assessing and quantifying cost/schedule/management/business statuses and risk; evaluating trends and project cost completion estimates; participating in program management reviews and business meetings; Preparing and coordinating inputs for acquisition, documentation, status reports, briefings and information inquiries; Training new staff on concepts, techniques and reporting; conducting technical evaluation of cost proposals including fact finding, cost/technical trade-off analyses and evaluation report writing; preparing independent cost estimates to support evaluation of alternatives including development of cost and operation effectiveness analyses and Bottom-Up/Top-Down cost estimates; conducting special studies and evaluations; reviewing program reports, technical papers, drawings, specifications procedures, etc and performs test/evaluations and validation/verifications; providing comments; consolidating and adjudicating comments from various DEO customers and preparing reports for DOE managers; preparing DOE program management correspondence, design charges, spreadsheets, Gantt charts and presentations and prepares analytical reports and meeting minutes.
