Serve as a liaison between business users and management reporting/data warehousing teams. Responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of sales related data. Coordinates and interprets business requirements for data. Queries data using a variety of sources and tools to create business and operational reports.

Position Specific Responsibilities

Collect, analyze, evaluate and report data in order to increase sales productivity.

Transform data into reliable and actionable information through the production of business and operational reports, emphasizing minimized volume and maximized value.

Provide analysis and guidance to the organization for purposes of helping them make better decisions quickly and efficiently

Understand the quality of the data elements so end users understand potential data limitations.

Identify the stakeholders and /or impacted parties

Participate in implementation of internally developed data stores as well as future enhancements.

Takes ownership for resolution of issues; follows through with assignments and escalates issues as needed to proper area.

Maintains a high degree of productivity and consistently meets deadlines.

Provides ideas to streamline processes/functions or create operational efficiencies.

Builds effective working relationships across functions/processes.

Exhibits effective listening skills, solid problem solving and decision-making skills.

Required Skills

College Education preferred

4+ years reporting tool experience (SQL, Reporting Services, Business Objects)

Strong relational and dimensional data modeling/querying and database design skills

Deep knowledge of the business, core processes, and how data and applications solve business problems related to reporting and workflows.

Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

Ability to work independently, multi-task and make decisions

Strong analytical and project management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.

Drive and challenge business users on their assumptions of how they will use information to measure success and change.

Can see opportunities where others cannot
