Baked by Melissa is looking for entry-level supervisors and managers to participate in our Management Training Program! The Management Training Program is designed to equip our future supervisors and managers with the knowledge and skills necessary to join the management team at one of our locations in NYC. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Communicates regularly with store employees and upper management; fosters work environment of open communication and employee feedback Manages training of all store employees (Front of House and Back of House positions) Implements and enforces all Company policies and protocols; assesses employee performance on an ongoing-basis; engages in on-site coaching and verbally addresses performance issues and/or breaks in Company protocols as necessary ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Creates and maintains weekly employee schedule; performs general schedule maintenance on a daily basis Performs weekly cash reconciliation and data entry Manages store organization; supervises inventory record-keeping and ensures proper storage of all inventory items Holiday availability is required EXPERIENCE " EDUCATION Minimum one (1) year supervisory and/or three (3) years associate level experience in a retail/hospitality setting Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to receive constructive criticism and feedback; ability and desire to learn and grow into a successful Baked by Melissa Team Leader A Bachelor°s Degree or equivalent work experience is required for consideration BENEFITS Paid time off Performance based bonus potential Paid weekly TransitChek (pre-tax dollars to pay for your commute!)
