The Proofpoint Account Management Team is responsible for driving growth in Proofpoint's installed base. We are currently looking for a dynamic leader to spearhead an established group in the effort to deliver a high-touch experience to our current customers. This person will be responsible driving customer satisfaction, portfolio awareness, and ultimately revenue growth.

Responsibilities include:
  • Lead at least 5 Account Managers
  • Drive add-on growth through a positive, high-touch customer experience
  • Be an industry expert
  • Present the entire Proofpoint portfolio to current customers
  • Whitespace planning
  • Prepare and execute a thorough business plan
  • Recruit, hire, and train Account Managers
  • Maintain quality with respect to rep/customer interactions
  • Track/report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Mitigate against future business challenges
  • Prepare and present team forecast to executive management
  • Maintain internal partnerships with various business units
  • Strategically plan for current and next quarter success
  • Advise marketing on planned events and programs
  • Inspire Account Managers
  • Maintain a positive culture
  • Sustained success as an individual sales person
  • Sustained success in a comparable sales management role (3+ years)
  • Experience in Software sales (3+ years)
