The Ad Sales Marketing Manager is responsible for client proposal ideation, creation and ongoing selling activities to maximize effectiveness of advertising campaigns. This position will be responsible for managing, mentoring and training the ad sales marketing coordinators and working closely with the director to ensure best practices and efficiencies in procedures.
Summary of Duties:
Owns the inception and management of the strategy behind individual client proposals
Ensure consistency of FM proposals in standard template
Quarterback of all team’s proposals:
Proposal strategy, ideation with sales
Outreach to lateral constituents when needed
Manage through FM approval process
Completion of accompanying powerpoint proposal
Final approval on completed media plan (by coordinator)
Compile and send all proposal materials to sales
Expert in all FM products and packages and will work with internal groups to keep up to date in offerings
Own creation of P&Ls for campaigns
Train and mentor the coordinators on: day-to-day best practices, key learnings, problem solving, provide performance feedback, manage realistic response and turn around times, etc.
3-4 years work experience in a marketing or advertising related role.
Direct experience in the Internet advertising industry is required.
Advanced experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
Detail oriented, organized, ability to multi-task.
Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills.
Solid reporting and analytics skills.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
Office environment. No exposure to weather conditions.
Required to sit for long periods of time
Infrequent light physical effort required
