DUTIES

Assist the Associate Vice President of Facilities Management with the operation of the organization while independently administering numerous programs that support the mission of Facilities Management and the University. Handles details of a highly confidential and critical nature, and must function efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced professional environment. Must have a proven ability to independently manage multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines, screen and prioritize communications from external and internal sources and organize and maintain administrative processes is essential to this position. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven, dynamic, high-energy, organized, and able to support cross-functional coordination in a fast pace environment and possess excellent judgment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalency and four to six years of progressively more responsible management experience. Advanced understanding of and skill with computers, technology, and complex use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Background knowledge of facilities management in order to analyze, plan and draw conclusions for recommendations to superiors. Demonstrated leadership skills in planning and directing employees and processes in order to effectively monitor and develop subordinates and to ensure the smooth operation of department. Master's degree in a related area may be preferred.
