Provides strategic direction and leadership for the Associate Health and Wellness function of Human Resources. Provides leadership and establishes relationships with leadership in order to maintain a focus on associate health and wellness that includes, Employee Assistance Services, MyHealth program, post offer, pre-employment processing, safe patient lift program, MSDS, FIT testing, FMLA, ADA, immunizations, and Workers’ Compensation.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field required. Must possess current license to practice nursing in the State of Michigan. Must be eligible for membership in the American Occupational Health Nurse Association. Must be certified (COHN) and/or be eligible for certification within the three (3) years. Minimum three years related experience in nursing required. Three years occupational health experience preferred. Requires interpersonal skills needed to deal effectively with ill or injured associates and other health care and supervisory personnel. Must possess solid verbal and written communication skills to work with diverse audiences. Must possess solid judgment and critical thinking. Requires ability to collaborate with various departments and to partner with leadership throughout the organization.
