POSITION DESCRIPTION

Barbaricum seeks a senior business development professional to lead a fast paced high volume business development shop. The candidate will manage the full capture cycle to include identifying new business opportunities, background research, proposal writing, and support the budgeting process. Candidates must have proven experience managing a team of business development professionals and must have proven substantial success at capturing new federal business. Particular attention will be given to candidates with proven DoD, VA, and DHS experience. Salary will be competitive and commiserate with the level of experience.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of directly related experience
  • Experience managing a team of business development professionals
  • Demonstrated success capturing high value Federal new business
  • Experience managing multiple capture and proposal initiatives simultaneously in high energy environments
