SUPERVISOR'S TITLE: Director of Operations
DESCRIPTION OF ROLE: The Manager is responsible to the Director of Operations for the achievement of the Operations objectives in accordance with: the RABQSA business plan; RABQSA processes and procedures; and RABQSA Customer Charter.

An effective typing and data entry speed of no less than 50 wpm;
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel applications;

Effective and proactive customer service in accordance with the RABQSA Customer Service Charter.
EDUCATION: A secondary education required. Bachelor’s degree preferred or commensurate (equivalent) competency and experience.
RABQSA certified management system auditor (may be acquired post employment).
Certificate 4 AQTF in workplace training and assessment or equivalent (may be acquired post employment).
EXPERIENCE: Minimum two years management experience within a service related industry. Direct staff supervision experience essential.
LIST OF ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop, document and maintain financial budgets, in liaison with Accounting Manager for personnel and training certification services.
Interpret, comment and make corrective action plans to monthly financial statements across international certification services.
Manage and deliver the organization’s personnel and training certification systems to the international market.
Manage the process of evaluation of personnel competence – the application for (and award of) personnel certification, including the performance of the RABQSA Examiners.
Manage the performance of the RABQSA Training provider Evaluators.
Foster a proactive team environment within a small group of Examiners and Evaluators to achieve maximum productivity.
Manage and respond, in an immediate and timely manner, to customer appeals and complaints.
Provide statistical reports (KPO) to the Director Business Development as appropriate to each certification scheme (Monthly)
Leadership in certification function in Milwaukee office;
Answer telephones and provide phone coverage for the office as needed;
Attend and actively participate in meetings and training as directed;
Other duties as assigned by the Director.
Internal – Executive Directors, Managers and Staff.
External – national and international organizations and companies (middle management level), international and industry associations (management level), RABQSA principal and international offices, and RABQSA customers.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Post Personnel Certification training and being deemed as competent, the candidate will transition into management of personnel and training certification examiners in Milwaukee office.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Director of Operations, within the limitations established in the business plan and personnel policy manual, the Manager will be required to execute the role and essential responsibilities with minimal supervision and guidance.
