Exponent’s Construction Consulting Practice provides construction management services to assist our clients through all phases of the project life cycle, and if necessary, through dispute resolution. Exponent identifies and evaluates construction processes and issues related to claims analysis, scope changes, schedule delays, production disruption and inefficiency, and the costs associated with these types of issues.

The Construction Consulting Practice is currently hiring for a Manager . This position will be responsible for managing projects associated with the analysis of construction delays, impacts, and damages as well as other construction management issues. You will be joining one of Exponent’s fastest growing practices, and working with an exceptional nationwide team of construction claims experts.

Responsibilities for this position include:
Performing tasks associated with the analysis of construction delays, impacts, and damages as well as other construction management issues
Coordinating and interfacing with clients as well as managing projects
Preparing written and visual communications of findings and conclusions
Assisting in the development of new business opportunities
Participating in claims management and negotiations in all phases of litigation Qualifications for this position include:
B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related
Minimum of 8-10 years' experience in construction management related issues, and the analysis of construction delays and impacts
Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred
Knowledge of Primavera and Microsoft software tools
Prior experience with the preparation and maintenance of CPM schedules
Prior experience in the research, analysis, and drafting of construction claims
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
