Corporate Analytics Manager (Lenexa, KS)
The Corporate Analytics Manager is responsible for research, strategic planning, analytics, and insights that will help grow the business quickly and profitably. “Corporate Analytics” is defined to represent business priorities/projects that drive process improvements, revenue, cost reductions, margin, or other key business metrics. The Corporate Analytics Manager will be given specific goals related to the project to which they are assigned. This role will work directly with senior level executives and management based upon the project(s) in which they are engaged and will interface with multiple functional areas including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Technology. The length of these assignments will vary. Typical projects would include, setting targets, identifying trends, analyzing performance, evaluating products, measuring attrition and retention, and identifying cross-selling expansion opportunities. The role requires a highly analytic, hands-on individual who can synthesize large amounts of data into executive level presentations. Incumbent must be able to critically analyze information and clearly articulate the main findings and business implications to executive management and business leaders. Incumbent must be comfortable working in fast paced and ever changing environment with tight deadlines.
Partner with the business team members to do gap and performance management activities.
Provide appropriate input into test design to ensure results can be relied upon to make investment decisions.
Analyze internal and external client data to identify retention, cross-selling expansion, and product opportunities.
Collaborate and gain agreement on defining key performance indicators and measurements.
Provide fact-based financial analysis that supports the business case for proposed investment. Also complete what-if scenario analysis. Use analytic findings to create meaningful and visually appealing presentations for senior and executive management.
Responsible for applying continuous improvement to reporting and analysis.
Standardize approach of measurement and reporting.
Bachelors Degree in related field, Masters Degree (MBA) preferred.
Prior relevant business experience is required - equivalent to an MBA.
