Panasonic Corporation of North America (PNA) is seeking a Manager for the
Corporate Intranet. We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual to
manage Panasonic North America’s Corporate Intranet. The Intranet Manager is
responsible for managing a comprehensive online strategy, including internal
promotion and branding, content creation, design development and build a lively
intranet community and foster adoption of leading-edge social collaborations
tools. The Intranet Manager will help to maximize the value of the intranet as
a strategic communications and knowledge management tool by helping employees
to quickly find the information they need to do their jobs, manage their lives
as employees, connect to other employees, and improve employee engagement.

Manage website development to
incorporate new features and functionality
Develop, expand and manage
current site designs and lead appropriate redesigns when needed
Coordinate with internal
Corporate Communications, Marketing and Talent Acquisition to ensure
consistent messaging and branding
Identify and execute strategic
partnerships to acquire compelling content, features, and online tools
that support the strategy
Alert colleagues to emerging
technologies or applications and the opportunities to integrate them into
our operations and activities
Work with a cross-functional team
of content owners to foster development of compelling content that is
clear, concise, and easy to understand
Help to educate employees and
enforce intranet policies and standards related to community activity,
content creation and organization, and visual and written standards
Provide direction on new social
collaboration tools and best practices, and monitor how other
organizations and companies are using them
Undergraduate degree preferred in communications or a
7 or more years of experience in interactive media with
proven direct experience of successful implementation of production
Exceptional written, communication and organizational
Understands the value and uses of social media for
internal audiences and is skilled at encouraging adoption among users
Understanding of usability and user experience best
practices as well as ability to work with 3rd party resources to achieve
Self motivated, organized, proactive and accountable.
High degree of service-oriented focus.
Ability to project, envision and defend the employee
point of view.
Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively
within a cross-departmental team
Understanding of technologies involved in website
