The Credit & Loyalty Marketing Manager is responsible for managing marketing initiatives for Macy's credit and loyalty programs. In conjunction with internal and external partners, develop messaging and targeting strategies that drive sales and loyalty. Lead creative production and execution for cardholder loyalty mailings. Responsible for ensuring accuracy and legal compliance, meeting budget requirements and adhering to strict timelines for assigned programs.
Develop and manage Core and Additional Marketing Funds test marketing programs. In conjunction with Corporate Marketing, Divisions, and external business partners, drive strategies that grow sales and loyalty
Develop metrics to target key customer segments with relevant marketing messages and offers
Communicate regularly with internal and external partners, including related program impact, expense and results
Work with Marketing Analytics, Credit Marketing Systems, and external business partners to develop metrics, key success factors and project plans in advance of test / new programs.
Facilitate on-going timely evaluation and analysis of current marketing programs for overall effectiveness
Budgetary responsibilities, expense forecasting and control
Build strong relationships with Divisional partners, as well as external production and agency vendors
Communicate relevant project updates on a regular basis
Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and coach employees; address complaints and resolve problems
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university (with an emphasis in communication, marketing or business preferred); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required with an emphasis in communication, marketing or business preferred
Experience in managing budgets and forecasts
Ability to work independently and make judgment calls
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Ability to lead and execute initiatives that impact several functional areas
Displays pro-active problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to work in high pressure environment with adherence to strict timelines, quality and audit standards
Ability to effectively interact with, present information to and respond to questions from all levels of MCCS, Division executives and vendor representatives
Demonstrates a high level of organization and attention to detail
