General Description

The primary function of the Crew Resources manager is to ensure that no adverse impact to the crew schedule occurs. Will manage Crew Scheduling and Crew Planning department functions and personnel. Assists Director of Crew Resources with various Crew Scheduling and Crew Planning functions. Ensures FAR regulations, company policy and procedure compliance.

Responsibilities
• Organize and conduct daily department meetings
• Conduct employee evaluations
• Establish and track goals and performance for Crew Schedulers and Crew Planners
• Develop training material for Crew Scheduling and Crew Planner personnel and perform ongoing and Recurrent Training process
• Create and maintain monthly employee schedules
• Track and approve Employee overtime and time off
• Ensure FAA, CBA and company rules and regulations compliance
• Ensure staff members follow procedures and company policies for compliance
• Provide reports to Director of Crew Resources as specified
• Monitor day to day operation and assist Crew Schedulers and Crew Planners where needed
• Approve monthly bid packages for crewmembers
• Manage rostering solutions for flight crew providing an efficient and cost effective crewing solution
• Manage crew utilization for effectiveness and monitor and approve crew overtime when necessary
• Establish key performance objectives for all staff reporting directly and indirectly that will support department goals and objectives
• Provide effective performance management and development to ensure that desired outputs are achieved
• Provide effective training to staff and continually appraise and develop to meet individual and company goals
• Communicate effectively with Crewmembers
• Train and assist Crew Schedulers and Crew Planners, develop and analyze Scheduling procedures to improve crew utilization
• Review and approve vacation bids for crew annually
• Communicate with Training Department for effective OE scheduling and completion
• Participate in projects as requested by Director Crew Resources to meet company goals and objectives
• Work closely with Travel Department to ensure cost efficient, legal and safe crew movements
Qualifications
• 3+ years of Management experience
• BA/BS degree preferred
• Advanced level of Crew Scheduling and Crew Planning knowledge, Part 121 experience is preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong math, analytical, and good problem solving skills
• Must be able to manage constant schedule changes, competing demands and be extremely adaptable and flexible
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are required
• Must possess high initiative and strong sense of urgency
• Demonstrate strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills
• Must have Internet knowledge and experience in mining online databases
• Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures
• Must be a team player
• Must be flexible, willing to work weekends and be on call 24/7

Qualifications
