Manage the Database Marketing Team and help guide strategy for the company by providing information necessary to make informed business decisions. Support the organization in making information more readily available through a combination of data management process development, data extraction and preparation, data quality and standard KPI reporting. Complete analysis and provide insights to support business initiatives across the Enterprise. Partner with business units to identify information needs and deliver tools and reporting that meet those requirements.
Data Management - - oversee and lead design, implementation and administration of processes and technologies that collect and manage data for use in analysis and reporting
Provide ongoing ad hoc support of analysis through data extraction and file creation for use by Marketing and other corporate teams in reporting, analysis and predictive analytics
Streamline and improve reporting processes and procedures on an ongoing basis to maximize efficiency and productivity
Work in partnership with the Information Technology group in automating and improving processes that manage data for analysis and reporting
Participate in updating and upgrading the customer database as necessary to incorporate required enhancements and to facilitate accurate and timely customer analyses
Develop tools to monitor and analyze quality of information resident in critical business reporting and analytic systems
Act as a resource in developing and executing test cases to validate new data as it becomes available in corporate data warehouses
Implement and manage processes to collect data from outside sources and enable use by analytic staff for model development and reporting
Analysis/Standard Reporting / KPI Management - - working across Marketing teams, complete analysis to drive insights and develop and manage reporting packages that provide visibility to KPI’s for business leaders
Assist the business in utilizing data to provide insights, drive strategy and solve business problems
Use customer database and other sources of data to report, monitor and analyze critical business metrics across the Enterprise
Partner with segment owners to identify key performance indicators and deliver measurement tools for them
Manage the transition of ad hoc reporting generated by business segment owners into standard, automated reporting capabilities as appropriate
Work in concert with Information Technology to develop and implement corporate level standard reporting
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, MIS or other business related field and 5+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, data quality, reporting and contact management; or any combination of equivalent education and experience
Strong project management and people management/leadership skills
Technical skills in SAS, SQL, MS Office or other tools that enable use of data for reporting, data management and monitoring of data quality
Effective collaboration, written and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences.
Experience testing new functionality, data and processes across operations and business intelligence systems
Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
Exposure to direct marketing, direct mail, online and digital media concepts a plus.
